Theodora, died before 337. Follis (Bronze, 17 mm, 2.84 g, 6 h), a contemporary imitation of an issue from Treveri, irregular mint, after 337-340. FL IIIΗX THEO-DORHF HVV Laureate and draped bust of Theodora to right. Rev. PIETΗS OMAHH / •TRP Pietas standing front, head to right, carrying an infant on her breast. Cf. RIC VIII 48 (for prototype). A lovely example of very attractive imitative style, struck on an exceptionally heavy flan. Slightly rough, otherwise, extremely fine.
